According to Moshood, the implication of the Senator by the suspected criminals is the reason the police is looking for him.

You will recall that Senator Dino Melaye accused Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state of planning to poison him using men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The Senator could not leave the court house after his court hearing because SARS officials wanted to arrest him.
