Soldier breaks traffic laws, gets arrested by officials

A soldier got the shock when he got arrested for disregarding traffic rules.

Soldier negotiating release to no avail

Two days ago, a soldier got pulled over along the Apapa- Oshodi Expressway.

Reports say he had broken a traffic rule.

He got out of the car to negotiate his release, but the Special Traffic Officials(STE) did not budge.

The soldier got arrested like any other traffic offender.

Kudos to the officials for doing their jobs.

"For today, the most erring people on BRT lane are the military officers. Over 10 vehicles of the military were found on the BRT corridor and we are going to write the army authorities.’’

"Over the years, the military has cooperated with us but I once again seek for more cooperation in ensuring that these laws are adhered to seriously."
