Being a real estate agent/realtor is not easy in Nigeria.

This is probably because of the tricky nature of the real estate industry.

However, you can still make your mark by using these tips to do two things; increase your client base and advertise your business.

Be available- In order to be a good agent, keep your business afloat and attract more clients, you have to be available. You can do this through social media. The goal is to ensure that your present and prospective clients know they can always reach you, their solution provider.

Take advantage of social media- Most new agents and firms realise the power of social media, however, others are still stuck in the past. Disregard people who say that social media is not important because it is. In fact, statistics show that most new homebuyers make use of social media. So, put yourself and your brand out there and watch your money come in.

Build and maintain relationships- Studies have shown that people react the most to emotional interaction. So, stay in touch with your clients, and get to know what their interests are. This, combined with social media, will help you provide exactly what they are looking for, when they want it.
