According to reports reaching us, the former helms-woman of Summit Association of Realtors in Colorado has been sentenced to jail.
Group’s ex-CEO jailed for theft
According to District Attorney Bruce Brown, the sentence “is the price thieves should expect to pay for stealing from their employer.”
Summit Association of Realtors, a non-profit organisation formed to support to real estate agents with educational and other sundry services, was set aback by $415,000 during the 20 year tenure of Sue Frank – 62 years old.
Frank was accused of forging checks and illegally diverting unauthorised funds to her personal account.
She pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to five years in prison.
According to District Attorney Bruce Brown, the sentence “is the price thieves should expect to pay for stealing from their employer.”
Frank is also expected to repay the money.
