Motorists advise FG to repair Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway

Motorists are concerned with the traffic gridlocks, created with by the Idi-Oro Bus Stop portion on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

According to numerous sources, that portion of the road is a terrible state, which creates traffic gridlocks, especially in rainy conditions.

Mr Saheed Afolabi, a truck driver, said, "We been suffering like this for more than three weeks, the government should please help us, this suffering is too much.’’

Other commuters, including an engineer named Mr Olarotimi Ogunmodede, and a motorist, Mr Gbenga Adeboye, appealed to the government to reduce traffic jams and accidents by repairing the road.

The  News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that road is filled with waterlogged potholes.
