The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has revealed the number of people killed in road traffic crashes.

In the interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the commander said this people died in accidents that occurred within three months (January to March).
He also said that there has been 400 accidents within this period, adding that 280 persons sustained various degrees of injury.
Alhaji Bagadawa attributed these crashes to speed limit violation, route violation, reckless driving, dangerous overtaking, carrying under-aged children in the front seat, and the use of second hand tyres.
Urging people to obey all traffic rules, he said the command was working hard to reduce and avoid more road crashes in the state.
