Readers approve of real estate mogul turned Ooni of Ife

The new Ooni of Ife has received the approval from Pulse readers.

The chosen Ooni of Ife, Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi preparing for his coronation process 

A real estate entrepreneur, Prince Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has been appointed as 51st Ooni of Ife.

The announcement was made by the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

“The Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has approved the appointment of a new Ooni of Ife. He is Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi of Giesi Ruling House of Ile-Ife, State of Osun. This choice follows the completion of the due process by the kingmakers and the communication of their decision to Government.”

Readers if they approved of the new Ooni, who comes highly recommended by the governor of Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.

The result was an unequivocal yes.

Prince Ogunwusi, the new Ooni of Ife, comes from a which includes the development of 2,500 housing units within the last eight years.

Yesterday, he spoke for the first time in an exclusive interview with the Guardian Newspaper giving appreciation to God.

"I thank God that at the end of the day, it has turned out this way and I give glory to God."
