Pulse readers disapprove of any plan to place a ban on used cars, popularly known as 'tokunbos'.
According to Mr. Tokunbo Aromolaran, the Managing Director of VON, placing this ban would encourage the development and development of Made-in-Nigeria cars.
“One of the best things the government can do to develop local assembling of cars in Nigeria is by banning used cars completely, in a gradual process, say in a period of three years, ”Aromolaran said.
Everyone voted against this, showing that they disapprove of this plan.
Guess the government and local auto plants have to find another way to get people to buy Made-in-Nigeria cars.
