Porsche has responded to the death lawsuit filed by Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow, by releasing a statment.

"As we have said before, we are very sad whenever anyone is hurt in a Porsche vehicle, but we believe the authorities' reports in this case clearly establish that this tragic crash resulted from reckless driving and excessive speed."

Despite the reports of the law enforcement officials, who said that the car was going 80 to 93 MPH at the time of the crash, Meadow still filed a lawsuit with the following claims.

"Porsche took safety shortcuts while loading the with a 605-horsepower engine capable of up to 205 mph and marketing it as a race car licensed for the road. Paul Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned. The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street. And we shouldn't be without or his friend, "
