President urges members to fight against quackery, other forms of corruption

The President of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Olorugun James Omeru, is speaking against corruption.

Olorugun James Omeru, the President of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), is anti-corruption.

Speaking at the induction ceremony, where 342 estate surveyors were initiated, he urged both old and new members to always be professional by avoiding quackery and other forms of corruption.

When the immediate past President of the institution, Mr. Emeka Eleh, gave his keynote address, he said same thing.

He urged both new and old to avoid anything corrupt practices.

“This sector of our practice is obviously the one that has mostly put us in bad light in the public domain. While it is known that the practice of agency is open to all as at now, it is also true that it is a sector that can easily set us apart from the quacks if our members will act professionally in their dealings.”
