The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has a new Chief Executive Officer, Chris Olakpe.

Chris Olakpe is the new Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
His appointment was announced yesterday, November 2nd, through a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode.
According to Mr. Habib Aruna, the Chief Press Secretary, the new CEO was appointed "in response to the consistent complaints by the public on the situation of traffic on the streets of Lagos."

Mr Olakpe is a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).
