One man has managed to do what Henry Ford could not do, which is, to make a car with weed.
Made with pure hemp are the Mazda Miata-based Canna 100 and 130, the Canna Turbo 265, and the Canna EV.
According to Carbuzz, the fibers are woven, hardened with resin and then painted.
These cars, apart from the Canna EV, are powered with gas and could run on ethanol.
According to Denver Post, these cars go for $42,000(N8m)
Bruce is not the first person to come up with the idea to make car parts, specifically body panels, with Indian hemp.
In 1941, Henry Ford had the same idea, but it did not work out.
Bruce is the first to succeed.
Recently, he drove one of his cars from Florida to Denver, Colorado, in order to get investors.
Despite making cars with weed, Bruce does not smoke it.
Would you drive or buy a car made of weed?
