The Lagos state government is planning to have a traffic-free day by giving free bus rides on Christmas day.
According to Managing Director of LAGBUS, Mr. Idowu Oguntona, this will reduce traffic, as well as promote public transportation.
He urged Lagosians to take advantage of this opportunity.

Oguntona pleaded with road users not to drink and drive.
The Free Bus ride will be within normal operational hours (6:00a.m – 10:00p.m).
