Kenya's shilling firmed on Wednesday, helped by banks selling dollars after the central bank cut its current account deficit forecast for this year, traders said.

At 0924 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.55/65 to the dollar, compared with Tuesday's close of 100.80/90.
