Only one of the victims has a fracture on his hand, while the remaining two are responding to treatment,’’ he said.

The V.C called on parents to disregard rumors about deaths, while revealing that the university would set up a committee to find out the cause of the collapse, and take precautionary measures.

"Escalation work had since started and whatever the outcome will be, it will be made public. But at the moment, nobody lost his life.

Immediately after the incident, we mobilised security agencies and Health workers from within and outside the University Community to the scene of the incident."
