Due to the high rates of road crashes and deaths Nigeria, Africa, is getting known for, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is ready to do something about these.
Agency set to reduce crashes by 20%, fatality by 30%
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is determined to reduce road crashes and death rates.

According to Mr Leye Adegboyega, FRSC Unit Commander, Ogun State, the agency wants to reduce crashes by 20% and fatality by 30%.
"We need to do everything possible to reduce the menace of preventable accidents on our roads amidst the growing spate of crashes involving articulated vehicles."

However, the agency can not do this on it's own, the public needs to obey traffic regulations.
Once this is done, crashes and fatalities will definitely reduce.
Mr Adegboyega also spoke on the reasons for crashes which include driver's attitude, recklessness and indiscipline.
They include speeding, drunk driving and riding without helmets.
