This property, the Mandalay Estate, is surrounded by ponds, pathways and pools.

According to The Telegraph, Bowie wanted something "as unlike the Caribbean as possible".

"It's a whim personified. I love a good cliche, and this house, for me, is just the most delightful cliche. What you have to realise is that Mustique is a fantasy island," he explained.

Features include a games room, huge reception, a study, an infinity pool, and a fully equipped stage for musicians.

Bowie's estate is currently available for rentals at the rate of $40K and $50K per week.
