There's nothing we love more than a good parenting moment gone viral—like this dad's truly delightful response to his son getting in trouble at school.

Brad Howard, a 17-year-old from Texas, had been reprimanded multiple times for chatting too much during his physics class. Brad's parents recently told him that if it happened again, there would be consequences—and they followed through in a major way.

Brad's dad—also named Brad—told his son that the next time they got a complaint from his physics teacher, he would attend class alongside his kid to make sure he behaved. And yeah, that happened.

Brad Senior went to his son's school during one of his rare days off work, and Brad Junior was seriously surprised to find him waiting. "I didn't even notice him until after I had said hi to all of my friends, but I was super shocked," the teen told BuzzFeed News.

Apparently the surprise visit worked like a charm, and the physics teacher was grateful for the intervention. That said, Brad Senior isn't too interested in making his visits regular—which seems fair since we'd all like to leave our high school days far, far behind us. “I pray it was a one-time thing," he said. "I don’t think I’d ever do it again.”

Brad's sister shared the whole story on Twitter, and people loved it. "This is just good parenting!" one person wrote. Another tweeted: "This is the best thing I have ever seen."

Good job, team.
