Pink Slashed Her Husband Carey Hart’s Tires On Thanksgiving And Needed 13 Stitches

Pink Needed 13 Stitches After Slashing Tires
  • Pink slashed her husband Carey Hart's tires on Thanksgiving, according to an interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show.
  • Pink, 39, needed 13 stitches after the incident.
  • In most cases, anesthesia is administered when more than one or two stitches are needed, but Pink did not get anesthesia.

Listen, we all get upset at our significant others-but Pink just shared one time she took her anger a little too far.

It all went down on The Ellen DeGeneres Show , where Pink, 39, played Ellens Burning Questions game. When Ellen asked Pink what's the dumbest way shes ever hurt herself, she immediately responded with: Slashing tires.

Come again?? Ellen asked how old she was at the time, and Pink said it wasnt that long ago before revealing that she totally took a knife to her husband Careys tires...on Thanksgiving, no less.

The holidays are stressful, she said. She didnt stop there. I got clean through the first one, she said. He has a raised F-250 and those tires are thick, thank you very much.

Then, her tire-slashing scheme went downhill-fast. The second one I lost a little steam, and I hit the metal part. My hand just went straight down the knife," she said. "Got 13 stitches. But heres the thing: I didnt need any anesthesia. I couldn't feel a thing."

Damn, girl. To be clear, when most people need to get stitches, they typically receive some kind of pain-killing anesthesia to help them through it, says Jamie Alan, PhD, an assistant professor of pharmacology and toxicology at Michigan State University-especially if they're getting more than just a stitch or two.

As for why Pink slashed Carey's tires...she didn't go into detail (or even which Thanksgiving it happened on), but the two have had their ups and downs: Carey and Pink nearly divorced in 2008, but reconciled the following year.

Most recently, Pink shared a Valentine's Day post of herself and her husband, cuddled up. "Happy f*cking Valentine's Day," she wrote. "And also if there isn't some stubborn person in your life making you want to rip your hair out ON the daily THAT'S OK TAKE YOUR OWN DAMN SELF OUT and buy your own damn chocolates and not the gross kind."

So, it seems like Pink and Carey are totally okay now...in their own special Pink-and-Carey way. But next time, get that anesthesia, girl.
