It wouldnt be a new season of

Here's everything you need to know about Link-and Chris:

1. He came from the Seattle Mariners.

2. Some fans are a little pissed because hes not the OG Ortho God.

That would be Callie Torres (played by Sara Ramirez)-and people on #teamcallie are determined to make sure she's not forgotten.

Judging by the looks of the sneak peek at tonight's episode, Link seems interested in Amelia (played by Caterina Scorsone), who has just reconciled with her ex-husband, Owen (Kevin McKidd).

When he says,"I heard you like Italian; I know a great new spot," Amelia, responds with, "I'm sorry, you heard? Heard where?" It surely seems like there's some big drama coming Link's way-could it involve Teddy (Kim Raver), who rekindled her relationship with Owen during his time apart from Amelia? Oh yeah, and she's pregnant with (we think) his baby, too, so there's that...

5. ...But he and Meredith might still have a chance.

That awkward "I'm not married" scene between Link and Meredith-and her subsequently turning him down for drinks-still might turn into something.

"I don't know if [he] is Meredith's type, but I think she doesn't know either," Grey's showrunner Krista Vernoff told TV Guide. "She doesn't know who she is romantically, as this adult woman post-Derek. So, who knows?"

Actor Chris Carmack previously had a six-season run as country singer Will Lexington on the hit drama Nashville. You might also recognize him as Luke Ward from The O.C. (you know, the one who said "Welcome to the O.C., bitch"). He's had a handful of smaller roles, too, on NCSI, CSI: New York, and Desperate Housewives.

7. Chris Carmack is a also a singer-songwriter.

In 2015, he released Pieces of You, an EP that includes five original songs, including "Being Alone," "Can’t Do It Again," and "What Has Changed." Country singer Vince Gill even called Chris "a wicked good guitar player."

8. You might have seen his abs on billboards.

Long before he became another hot doc on Grey's, Chris Carmack was taking his shirt off for modeling gigs. While in college, a group of friends encouraged him to go to an open casting call for Abercrombie & Fitch, according to the Washington Post. The opportunity led to regular work, but Carmack said, while fun, it was a bit "dehumanizing."

9. Chris Carmacks fiance is ultra-talented.

Chris proposed to his then-girlfriend Erin Slaver-a fiddler, vocalist, songwriter, violinist and actress-in March 2016. The two met on the set of Nashville when she performed as a backup singer to Hayden Panettiere's Juliette Barnes.

10. ... And they have an adorable 2-year-old daughter.

Shortly after the pair announced their engagement, they welcomed a daughter in August 2016.
