- In her newest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper removed a mole from a man's nose.
- Dr. Pimple Popper pulled the skin tight and then sliced the mole off slowly with her scalpel.
- According to the AAD, moles are typically only removed if they're bothersome, unattractive to the patient, or look suspicious.
Dr. Pimple Popper is back with more satisfying content streaming straight from her treatment room. The doctor doesn't just pop blackheads and cysts all day, oh no. She can do so much more, and proves it with a new video.
In Dr. Pimple Popper's latest Instagram video, she clears away a bothersome mole from her patient's face. The mole is located right on the side of his nose. Dr. Pimple Popper captioned her post: "Holy Moly! Ever wonder how to get rid of a mole? Well heres your chance to find out! PS More on that mystery cyst later... #closeshave #holymoly#drpimplepopper"
According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), a dermatologist will remove a mole if it's bothersome, unattractive to the patient, or looks suspicious (i.e., could be skin cancer).
Dermatologists remove a mole one of two ways: through surgical excision (when the dermatologist cuts out a mole from the skin), and a surgical shave (when the dermatologist uses a surgical blade to remove the mole), per the AAD.

In this case, Dr. Pimple Popper uses her scalpel and calls the procedure a "close shave" in the caption. One commenter had a unique theory, "That looks like a knife you see in those prison movies." Um, not exactly the doctor's tool of choice.
She slices it right off his nose with no problems. There is still one bump left on his cheek, a cyst, but Dr. Pimple Popper is saving that removal for another day. Something for everyone to look forward to!
