Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD , aka Dr. Pimple Popper, is going deep today. Your favorite derm isn't getting philosophical, nope. She is going deep under the skin for an especially tricky extraction. In her latest Youtube video , Dr. Pimple Popper is tracking down a hidden cyst on a man's neck. The bump is visible on the surface of the skin, but the cyst is buried deep below. Dr. Pimple Popper named this pop after her patient who says he's "A cysty kinda guy". Coming from a dermatologist, that sounds like a huge compliment.

So, what did he do to earn that nickname? Why he has a cyst, and a pretty sizable one at that, located on his neck. Dr. Pimple Popper starts off with a scalpel, slicing into the skin to uncover the cyst. She has to trim with scissors, but still hasn't gotten deep enough to reach the cyst hiding below. She goes back in with her scalpel again.

Her patient is starting to bleed quite a lot, and that incision is looking bigger and bigger. Still, there's no cyst to be found. Finally, the doc spots it. "I see it now," she whispers.

She goes in with her scissors again, trimming away around the cyst and holding back her patient's skin. This is some serious surgery, folks. Dr. Pimple Popper snips away a bit more, before going in for one good squeeze. She gets a big gloppy pile of white goo in return. "You've had years and years of these kind of bumps on you," she tells her patient.

Her patient is prone to cysts and other bumps, so Dr. Pimple Popper is extra careful to clear out all remnants of the cyst sac. This is one bump that won't be making a repeat appearance all thanks to Dr. Pimple Popper and a complete pop.
