Breaking news, popaholics: Dr. Pimple Popper, has a special-edition pop for your viewing pleasure.
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD , aka Dr. Pimple Popper, just posted a video to her Instagram feed and Youtube channel showcasing not one but two super-satisfying pops. "Extra! Extra! Read all about this POP," she captioned the clip, also urging viewers to "Check out this SPECIAL EDITION NEWSPAPER CYST & BONUS BLACKHEADS on #YouTube!"
The video begins with Dr. Pimple Popper surveying the cyst. "It's ready," the doctor says. "It's looking at us right away." Her patient is more than ready, too. She tells Dr. Pimple Popper she has been dealing with the cyst for five years. "It's embarrassing. That's why I'm so conscious of lifting my right arm." The cyst is located right in her armpit.
Dr. Pimple Popper tries squeezing it with her fingers, but the cyst doesn't budge. "I'm trying to not pop it, but then I think I'm going to have to," she says. So, the doctor goes back in with her scissors and scalpel to open up the cyst.
Then, she goes back to squeezing. This time, she gets results. "The cyst contents are a little darker because of your pigment," the doctor says. The dead skin cells trapped inside come popping out.
"You had a little cyst rose," she says. "It looks like a little rose, I'll show you. You're like 'that's the grossest rose I've ever heard of.'"
Dr. Pimple Popper is not done yet. She goes on to clear out the cyst sac to be sure it never plagues her patient again. "There was a little nubbin right there," she says. The doctor won't stop until she's confident not one bit of the cyst remains, or blackheads nearby either. She clears out an ingrown hair in her patient's armpit and a blackhead, all before the video wraps up.
Dr. Pimple Popper is a woman of many talents. Popping pimples of all shapes and sizes, and of course comparing them to a few of your (once) favorite things just happens to be one of her faves.
