Chrissy Teigen's Brand Deals
  • Chrissy Teigen is one of the highest-paid models in the world.
  • Chrissy's high net worth comes from brand collaborations, bestselling cookbooks, and TV hosting gigs.
  • Chrissy's first book deal came from Twitter, which has made her a social media star.

Chrissy Teigen is queen of the social media clapback , and her adorable family is serious #goals. Thanks to a combination of Twitter fame and longtime modeling career, the model and mom of two has a big bank account.

She started out modeling 15 years ago and has since parlayed her fame into lucrative deals way beyond photoshoots, all contributing to her high net worth. Here's how Chrissy earns millions of dolla dolla bills.

Chrissy was discovered in a surf shop in California when she was 18, per Vogue . Since then, she's booked many modeling gigs (including the music video where she met her husband John Legend). The 33-year-old has graced editorial spreads in many publications, including the 2007 Maxim Calendar and multiple times in and on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since 2010.

In 2017 and 2018, she was number three on the Forbes ranking of highest-paid models. Chrissy was just behind mega-stars Gisele Bundchen and Kendall Jenner the first year and behind Karlie Kloss and Kendall last year, per the publication . She continues to appear in a variety of campaigns to keep the cash coming in.

It's unclear exactly how much Chrissy earns from her Twitter wit, but her 11.5 million followers tune in to her every 280-character musing. Generally speaking, influencers' (with at least one million followers) earnings on the platform are well into the six figure range. Her tweets did help her catch the eye of an editor at Clarkson Potter, which led to her very first cookbook deal, MarketWatch reported.

Chrissy loves cooking with her family, and she has taken her passion straight to the bank. She has penned not one, but two bestselling cookbooks, which started as her So Delushious! food blog . Her first book, Cravings, sold more than 400,000 copies, and was one of the top two cookbooks of 2016. With a list price of $29.99 that works out to around $12 million in sales. Her second cookbook, Cravings: Hungry For More, sold around 150,000 copies in the first two months after publishing, MarketWatch reported.

Chrissy also launched a cookware line with Target. The collection of pots, pans, and platters sold out almost instantly, but is still available today.

She also partnered with Blue Apron, the meal-kit delivery service, to make her Cravings recipes even easier for fans. Chrissy even helped adapt recipes to fit the meal kits.

Chrissy's latest collab includes a line of blue light blocking glasses and sunnies with Quay Australia. She's already set up for success, since the collection includes Quay's bestselling frames in new colors.

The model also created a best-selling face palette as a collaboration with Becca and joined Pampers as the creative consultant for its Pure collection.

She and hubby John Legend also lend their A-list image for commercials, too. They starred in a Google Assistant ad released during the Oscars this past March.

Chrissy isn't just a pretty face, her personality makes her a popular TV host and judge. She co-hosted Lip Sync Battle and is a current judge on Bring the Funny. While neither show has released her salary, no doubt she earned a fat check for her hilarious contributions.

And that's bound to be a lot of big checks. So how much is the model worth? According to CelebrityNetWorth , that all adds up to around $26 million dollars.
