Its kind of a given that at least one Bachelor date is going to feature the Bachelor dancing with his woman of the moment to the live music of a singer you dont know all that well.

Victoria And Peter Got Blindsided By Her Ex

Well, on Peter Webers season , rumor has it contestant Victoria Fuller goes on a date with Peter, where theyre serenaded by country singer Chase Rice. Totally normal stuff, right?

Well, there's a twist: Victoria and Chase used to date. Awkward!

ICYMI: Reality Steve previously tweeted "Soooo yeah, definitely more to this story, so something tells us this is going to be a plotline.

Chase, who sings the country anthem Ready, Set, Roll (anyone?), was asked about the whole thing by The Morning Toast at the CMAs, and he kind of brushed it off. "There ain't no love triangle, all the love's on their side. I wish them the best, he said.

Chase also said during the interview that he went on the show to promote his music, as one does, but producers brought a little extracurricular activity into that, as Bachelor producers do. Cmonno one saw that coming?

Chase also opened up about it to People , saying that, I was involved, and I was involved more than I wanted to be involved with. That will be coming out Im sure in January, he said.

Chase told Morning Toast that he was set up by producers. "I mean, they set everybody up. Here's my thing: I didn't sign up for that. That's my problem with it, he said. "At the end of the day, they had a job to do, and I don't need to be a part of that. I mean, I went on there to promote my music, and that's all it should've been. It wasn't." DRAMA! DRAMA IS COMING, YOU GUYS!!!

Buuuttt, Chase does point out that hell be dropping new music whenever his episode airs, so hes clearly making some lemonade out of lemons here.

As for Chase and Victorias dating history, well, its kind of hard to tell how serious it was. According to Reality Steve , the two definitely spent time with/hung out/dated before Victoria went on the show but it wasnt like they dated for years and were Instagram official.

Rumor has it Hannah B makes an appearance on Peter's season, too:

"I dont know how serious it was, how long it was for, or how/why it ended, Reality Steve said. Chase does follow Victoria on Instagram, so it couldnt have endly that badly. Right?
