Toolz: A Better Radio Or TV Personality?

When we hear Beat99.9  FM in Lagos, the name Toolz rings a loud bell. She‘s gifted with a voice that keeps us entertained and happy for close to 5 hours every blessed day. She has been named On Air Personality of the Year at several occasions and she makes the radio business worth the business.

Toolz screams joy and professionalism and she lives on the fast lane. She is exceptionally bold and confident and knows what she wants and goes for it. Not to forget she is on the ‘big side’ and feels fly, Toolz dazzles on air in a the most playful, easily related and intelligent way that captures attention in just seconds!

So with these entire incredible resume on radio, the sexy mama decided to venture into bigger and perhaps better things. She became the host of “The Juice”, a celebrity one-on-one talk show with Ndani TV. She may have been too good that the brand new X-Factor Nigeria brought her on board as their host too!

It’s not our place to judge but frankly, there’s been some worry as regards her performance on television. Yes we also know, radio is quite different from TV but media is media right? Toolz is an intelligent woman and should know what she is capable of doing and what she should walk out from. This could not have been the best choice she made but isn't she doing it?

The complaint arising spans across her inability to be as natural as she flows on radio, she is too stiff and speaks like she is reading a script. We won't want to compare her with someone else but should Toolz take a bow or continue to challenge herself till she gets it right?

Honestly, Toolz is a beauty and television needs that. She smiles and makes her audience comfortable. In fact, she does everything a TV personality should do but does she reign on top of this sector so far?

Note that, this write up isn't meant to crucify the talent! Toolz beholds brains and beauty and she knows how to play with her asserts so well. Why then is her TV move being questioned?
