Guys with glittering earrings are a common sight these days, though not many would take it as far as Area Father Charley Boy whose face is a whole jewellery store in motion.

Men now wear earrings as a fashion item, some because it's a personal style preference while most just hop on the bandwagon because others think it is cool.
I ask: Does wearing earrings make mean a man is bad?
People who have condemned male earrings wearing usually use religious backing, same Biblical quote used against tattoos, from Leviticus:
"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD." ~ Leviticus 19:28.
But you don’t need to pierce your ears to wear an earring in these days of magnetic, hoop earrings...

Another group argue that the Nigerian earrings-trend is due to of the invasion of foreign culture.
How true is that, given that in Africa here, noticeably amongst the Kenyans, earrings were viewed as an art form as well an identity symbol – an integral part of many African customs and traditions.
In ancient times, in places like Assyria and Babylonia, wore earrings to denote their rank in society.
In recent times, people have labelled earring wearing men as gays, but there are different kinds of men that wear them including but not limited to rappers, gays, straights etc.
But do women like men that wear earring?
For Biola, it is a ‘No’.
"I can't date a guy that wears earrings, for moral reasons," she said.
But others like it.
"Personally.. I like a guy with a diamond stud for an earring, very sexy. But then again, it depends on who it is too. Some just don't suit an earring, period!" Lizzy (not real name) said.
So do you think it is cool for men to wear earrings?
If No, why don’t you?
If Yes, go get one or get one for your man – I’m open to one too, magnetic diamond studs!
