Barry Gamble and his new wife, Monica, had a 'destination wedding' that ended up with the wedding guests donating blood at Virginia Blood Services.
The clinic was decorated to look like a wedding chapel with cake offered as a snack to ensure nobody was dizzy or lightheaded after their donation.
In their defence, Barry said, "the greatest gift of all is life, this is a lot more important than a toaster."
