Couple says "I Do" in funeral home

Here is why this couple tied the knot in this strange location.

Funeral home

A lot of people imagine getting married in a lot of places like church, hotel, but probably never a funeral home.

This couple, Chelsea and Barry Lesnick actually tied the knot in March in a funeral home run by Chelsea's family for years.

She explained their decision on HuffPost Live saying:

"We really didn't think of it as weird, for our mindset, because we deal with death all the time. It's the family business. But talking to other people about it, like friends and 's family, they were a little weirded out by the idea. They were a little skeptical, thinking, 'How is this going to work? Are there going to be dead bodies everywhere?'"

On the actual wedding ceremony, the groom said that the fact that the funeral home was the venue made it a "perfect day."

"From my family, we got an overwhelming good response. It actually wasn't expected; however, they told us it felt like a nice family place. We didn't feel like there was death around us or anything like that."
