This couple defy traffic, share first dance on the highway [Video]

This American couple knew exactly what to do when traffic tried to stop them from getting to their own wedding reception.

Heavy rains? A stranger raising their hand to say they have a reason why your wedding should not continue?

Oh… and what about traffic? Some terrible, unmoving, long line of vehicles to hold you to one spot, as your wedding day slips away into a bad, bad memory.

Eish! Sounds terrible and hard to imagine, right?

Well, this is exactly what happened to Jeff and Rebecca Payne, a newly married couple in Ohio, USA.

After saying their vows, they hit the road for the venue of their reception.

Instead of riding  to the venue easily, they got stuck in a nightmare traffic jam.

Apparently a multi-car accident had occurred that had totally shut down movement along the highway for two hours before they got there, and the situation did not even look like changing at all.

So what did Jeff and Rebecca do? Yep. You guessed right. They made the most of the situation by sharing their first dance right there in the middle of the road!

Car owners were surely impressed with the couple for their positivity and  of course, it was a break from sitting in the car doing absolutely nothing.

So, they came out of their cars to photograph the moment, and soon enough, the hashtag #RescueThePaynes began trending on social media.

Now that is a story they’ll gladly be telling to their children and grandchildren later in the future.

Absolutely dope stuff!
