How to create a great profile on popular dating app

Tinder is arguably the most popular dating site in the country at the moment. Consider this a startpack to getting the best out if it.

From the lonely school boys to the hot sugar daddies that are tired of their wives’ jollof, and the young women who are flirting with the idea of Internet romance, .

Whatever your social standing though,  do you know how to own it?

Let’s take you through the before, during and after process of swiping.

Your bio

This is not the place to write your life story please. Nobody wants to know all about you at once.

It’s overwhelming to read, it creates expectations (which can get uncomfortable) and most importantly, there will be nothing new to discover about you.

The trick is to say 3 things you are passionate about which can include your hobbies (Please have a passion, everybody likes people with passions) and say why you are on Tinder.

Many people go on Tinder for hook ups, some go in search of genuine sparks and some go to look for cool hangout buddies. State just your purpose and passion!

You need a great picture

If 10 out of 11 swipes you make is not a match, you need to fix up your life!

You can do this through your profile. Ask friends (not friends you have ever offended in the past) which pictures of you are the best or filter your pictures using the four S’ rule: Simple, Silly, Smart and Sexy.

Please don’t put pictures where your face is covered, it gives off the idea that you lack self-confidence.

Also, try to put as many pictures of you as possible. The maximum is six, but people have trust issues so two picture will NOT do.

Note that ‘pictures’ means pictures of you, not celebrities, not action figures, not quotes and definitely not the person you’re cat-fishing.

Settings

This should be the simple part. Put in your age range, the sex and most importantly, the distance.

If you want someone to hang out with and not just to chat with, it’s advisable to set the maximum distance at five to ten kilometers.

Remember that it is not sugar-daddy or sugar-mummy season. They are usually away with their families during the holidays.

So to save yourself the disappointment, stay within your age range. As for the sex, there is a 14-year sentence on homosexuality.
