2 die hard fans of American epic movie have all star-themed wedding

29-yr-old Foreman Andrew Porters and 34-yr-old Caroline Ritter were accompanied by fellow star wars fans and family who dressed in some "Star Wars" characters for their wedding

 

A bride and groom who are die hard fans of 'Star Wars' had a wedding the movie-themed wedding on Thursday in front of Hollywood's Chinese Theatre.

29-yr-old ForemanAndrew Porters and 34-yr-old Caroline Ritter were accompanied by fellow star wars fans and family who dressed in some "Star Wars" characters for their wedding.

The Australian couple had flown over 7,500 miles to camp out in front of the Chinese Theatre waiting to see "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Thursday, the night the movie premiered, The Telegraph UK reports.

The newlyweds said they were left in shock by the number of fans and media people who showed up to record their wedding day.

"I walked up from our motel room and just went, 'Oh crap that's a lot of media.' I was expecting one to two cameras but all of you guys coming out here today it's been great," the groom said.

Porters and Ritter were given a special wedding gift of $5,000 by IMAX to support their honeymoon dreams.

"We are going to see the new movie and we are probably going to honeymoon over in Europe and go to celebration Europe and probably use a little bit of it as well to plan our next trip out here for the next line and raise some more much needed funds for Starlight Children's Foundation," Porters added.
