She wants just friendship but I want more

Dear Bukky,

I’m really in a state of dilemma and confusion about my love life.

There’s this girl I dated for like two years before she broke up with me. The truth is I have never loved someone as much as I love her and I really still do.

For some reason she reached out to me in December through Whatsapp and we started talking again. She said a lot about missing me and she ended up coming to visit me at my family house where we had a very good time just like we never parted ways.

So I really thought we would get back together but after that day everything just changed.

Now she’s saying she just wants us to be friends but really, I can’t stop thinking about her. I feel she’s the only girl that can make me happy.

I have really tried to move on but it’s been very difficult._____________

Dear reader,

There’s a formula for moving on that might work for you; I call it blacking out.

And I really think you should try it.

So in essence what this means is that; you give yourself a chance to move on from someone without having them interfere with the process.

You block her on all social media platforms and basically every communication channel you know. Give yourself the chance to actually learn to live and enjoy a life devoid of her presence.

As the present situation has shown, what she has to offer does not match what you want and it’s just going to drive you nuts if you keep letting her hang around you, but you really can’t have her.

It’s better to take time off from her. Maybe just enough time to heal or maybe a permanent movement away from her.

If she’s bent on being just friends, you need to move on from her as she’ll never be able to give you what you want.
