Singer and songwriter Rihanna, attended the wedding of her closest friend and stylist, Sonya Benson, over the weekend as she got married to James Markey in at the City Hall, New York.

The happy bride wore a strapless, ivory lace mermaid-style wedding dress with a long train, a sweetheart neckline, a short tulle veil and cross necklace and carried a bouquet of baby's breath flowers as she exchanged vows in front of her friends and family.

Benson also changed into white, lace slip gown and an ivory feather headpiece during the reception.

As a friend of the bride, Rihanna gave a live performance at Benson and Markey's wedding.
