I no longer trust my girlfriend; should I leave or stay with her?

I think she's cheating on me and I've been faithful to her since we started dated.

Relationship Talk

Dear Bukky,

My girlfriend and I are in a distance relationship and we had a little misunderstanding, we didn't call or text each other for about 6 days before I finally called her then we settled and since then she changed a little.

She hardly calls or texts me or gives me attention the way she does and I'm concerned that she might be liking someone else and when I called her one day, she sounded like someone who just had sex because I suspected the background of where she was when I called and we didn't even talk up to a minute.

She said we will talk later. I'm really worried and I feel like ending the relationship with her because she is someone who doesn't like staying in one place, she is always going to her friend’s (male /female) place to stay or sometimes spend the night.

I need advice, Thanks.______________

Hi reader,

Thanks for reaching out to me with this.

Let me start by saying that you and your girl need to have a proper conversation about where you are now, and what the next step for you is.

Distance relationships thrive on a solid foundation of communication and it appears, from the mail you sent, that you don’t have enough of that at the moment.

I think any decision you take without that deep conversation might turn out wrong.

You cannot cut someone off without hearing their side of the story. That’s wrong.

And that brings me to the part where you said she sounds like “someone who just had sex.”

I actually did not know there was a sound particular sound one can only hear from someone who just had sex.

Whatever you do, I advise you to first talk to her, ask questions, listen to her answers… the decision to leave her or try harder to make the relationship work is dependent on that conversation.

Cheers.______________Do you want to talk about your love life, marriage or family issues?
