Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are celebrating their 68th wedding anniversary today.

Elizabeth who was a princess then had married her prince just two years after World WarII had ended.

"With her bridal dress and tiara on her wedding day, she was a knockout, and of course, Philip was every girl's dream Viking prince," one of her bridesmaids, Lady Pamela Hicks told PEOPLE.

The 89-yr-old queen who became the longest serving British Monarch on September 9, is reportedly going to spend her anniversary alongside her husband visiting Birmingham in the English Midlands.
