Readers say they prefer calls to texts in relationships

It is undeniably clear that communication in relationships and marriages has no subsitute.

We asked our readers in an article published here on July 11, 2017 and a very huge majority, 69%, say they prefer phonecalls and that is what they expect their partner to do more.

Only 31% choose to communicate more frequently with texts than with calls.

Apparently even phone calls have levels.

Vlogger, Toke Makinwa creates a controversy of sorts on her Youtube vlog, expressing an opinion that men who make Whatsapp calls aren't showing the same effort as the ones making use of airtime to call.

That opinion has been contradicted here because the very essence of communication is to stay emotionally connected.

Whatever the medium is, phonecalls, text messages, video calls, or Whatsapp calls, making genuine efforts to stay in touch is all that really matters.
