This bride's action said it all in a not-so-funny prank pulled by the groom at their wedding reception.

26-yr-old newlywed, Laura Cox, saw her four-tier wedding cake smashed on the floor by two waiters who were fighting in her presence.

But the bride got to know the fight was staged after she ran to confront the two waiters, only to realise it was just a prank staged by her husband, Joe Cox.

The video shows the groom running towards the bride with a smirk on his face trying to explain to his mortified bride that the cake smashing was a prank.

"It was a great touch to the wedding, Laura didn't suspect a thing at all. Her face when she thought the waiter had dropped the cake was a picture.

"Everyone was in complete shock and thought it had been ruined. Then the waiters burst into song and I started laughing when Laura looked over at me. She then knew it was all a set-up," Joe told Daily Mail.
