The three day wedding kicked off in Lagos at the Iga Idugaran palace of his royal Majesty, Oba Riliwan Akiolu on Friday, August 5, 2016 where the couple tied the knot legally at the registry.

In attendance were royal fathers like H. I. M, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ikubaba yeye, H. R. M Alaafin of Oyo, Oniru of Lagos, Oba Abiodun Oniru, Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi, the Onikoyi of Lagos, the Ojora of Ijoraland, the host Oba of Lagos.

Former Vice President of Nigeria & a top APC chieftain, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the richest black man and African on earth, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, top businessman and highest shareholder at Zenith Bank Jim Ovia, Forbes rated billionaire and Forte oil chairman, Femi Otedola, Group MD of Oando Plc and uncle of the groom, Wale Jubril Tinubu.

His excellency Governor of Lagos Akinwunmi Ambode & wife, his Excellency Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Secretary to the Federal Government, Babachir David Lawal, Commissioner for tourism & culture, Lagos, Folly Coker, former commissioner for water front, Aremo Segun Oniru, top Lebanese businessman & initiator of Eko Atlantic City project, Mr. Ronald Chagoury, the Iyalode of Lagos, Chief Mrs. Binta Tinubu, the Iyaloja General of Lagos, Sade Tinubu, Deputy Governor of Ogun state, Chief Mrs Yetunde Onanuga, the speaker of the house, Lagos assembly, Hon. To prevent the wedding from being a public event, due to the popularity of the groom’s father, the remaining parts of the wedding [day two and three] was strictly for the bride, groom and their friends alone.

The couple’s parents were absent.

Day two of the wedding which was termed ‘the White Night’ took place in Villa Gastel, Cernobbio, Como Lake, Italy on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. The dress code for this event was ‘White’.

The groom’s men include Kunle FAKEYE, Lamide Edun, Demi Aderemi, HRH crown prince Mohammed Al-Shaqri, James Omotosho, Shayo Olumide, Luqman Edu & Dotun Adebayo.

Day three tagged the ‘’. The black tie cocktail event took place at Villa Erba-Pavilion on August 10, 2016.
