However, the "Orange Is the New Black" actress says some of the planning will be out on hold as her sweetheart is "going off to do two movies. I just wrapped last week. It's just, you know, scheduling. It's a lot."
What seems fairly certain is the type of ceremony she wants with her groom whom she refers to as the "the love of my life."
"We want a really small wedding but we have a lot of people that we love and care about," Prepon says.
The couple announced their engagement last October when the actress showed off her engagement ring at the New York premiere of “The Girl on the Train.”
"It's weird," the actress says.
"Apparently doing the list for your wedding is a whole thing that could cause some issues, our cast alone is like 50 people."
This will be the first marriage for both Prepon and the Hell or High Water actor. He was previously engaged to Robin Wright, who plays Claire Underwood in the hit series, "House of Cards."
Prepon announced her engagement news just few days after another OITNB star, Samira Wiley aka Poussey announced her own engagement to the producer of the show, Lauren Morelli.
