4 ways to know your girlfriend has not really moved on from her ex

So how do you know that your girl has not moved on from her former lover?

As guys and men, it is important to know this because your relationship with that woman may be negatively affected by any unfinished business or unended feelings she may have for that other guy.

So how do you know that your girl has not moved on from her ex?

1. He comes up in conversation often

Whether the comments are positive or negative isn’t the issue. If the ex happens to pop up in every conversation, there might be some underlying problems at hand; problems she might not even be fully conscious about or aware of.

2. She compares

Does your girlfriend ever compare you to her ex boyfriend, and show you in negative light? Of course, she may do this only when she’s pissed off with you. But yet, if your girlfriend compares you to her ex for the silliest reasons, or when you’re late or forget to do something, it only means she’s mentally evaluating who’s the better boyfriend.

But seriously, if she has no thoughts of ever dumping you and getting back with her ex, why the comparisons in the first place, right?!

3. She’s in touch with him

Exes stay as exes for a reason. And exes never make good friends. Of course, it is definitely possible for exes to stay friends, but it’s not likely. If your girlfriend is still friends with her ex, and stays connected to him in a more than just an old friend kind of way, you do have grounds to worry.

And you’re definitely allowed to go into panic mode if she chats with him over social media every day or texts him often.

4. She can’t let go

This is pretty much an obvious sign. If she can’t stop herself from stalking him on social media, despite the fact that he has blocked her and wants nothing to do with her, then you can be sure that she is yet to really move on from whatever they had going before you came into the picture.
