Relationship Talk With Bukky: He wants to marry me next year but the idea scares me

I am a serving corp member. I have a boyfriend of about 29 years old.

We live together ever since I started serving. Now the problem is that I am 3 months pregnant and he wants me to keep it and I love him so much but he has serious anger, jealousy issues. He is very overprotective and doesn't want to see me around any guy. He is also insecure. He just picks up my phone and asks me to put my pin and goes through my call logs, messages, chats, etc. He is talking about getting married to me next year March, and coming for my introduction next month.

I am being skeptical about it and no one in my family knows him and I just don't want to appear next month with pregnancy. I am also not really excited about the idea of getting married to him. I decided to abort the baby and he says I should move out of his house and stay far away from him he doesn't want to set his eyes on me ever again. Please what do I do?____________

Get away from him as fast as you can. As a matter of fact, I see his decision to send you packing as a blessing and not something to be sad affair. You may not see it now but with time, I bet you will, too.

This is someone who is insecure, invades your privacy, secludes you from other potentially beneficial relationships and instills so much disinterest and skepticism in you about a future with him. I think leaving him was always going to be the best thing to do.

That he asked you to leave just makes it better in my opinion. If you were going to make the choice of sticking with him despite all this toxicity, now you cannot. You have no option but to leave.

It is the right thing to do. That guy is so wrong. You owe him no apology and you should never feel like offering him any.

Please leave him and move on with your life. And please, do not accept this type of any man ever again! If he cannot trust you enough to keep some part of your life private for you, then you should not be with such man. For what is a relationship without mutual trust and respect?____________
