In an exclusive interview with Pulse Weddings, Zapphaire Events CEO Funke Bucknor-Obruthe explained some factors to consider when planning a destination wedding.

"Having a destination wedding is like a mini-honeymoon. You get to have a honeymoon just immediately after having your wedding", she said.

"A lot of people say they want a destination wedding because they don't want many  people to come to their wedding. Is it easy to get a visa for the country?", Obruthe explained.

"Once you can establish these factors, you can plan a destination wedding, it's intimate  and small and you get to see a lot of your friends and create an intimate experience for your guests."
