If you are single because you are unwilling and unready, then it’s fine.
On the other hand, if you are willing but none of those great, dark-like-chocolate men is coming your way, it’s time you asked yourself few questions.
Frankly, for every mediocre man out there, there is an amazing one, waiting to meet someone as great as you and begin a relationship to be envied by others.
So, maybe it’s time to quit complaining about the baeless life. Your inability to get a man may be down to the following five things:
1. You don’t put yourself out there
‘I’m not the outgoing type,’ you say, yet you expect to magically find the love of your life.
No man is going to come like the FBI and smash down the gate of your house to get you.
You need to put yourself out there. If you love movies, don’t watch it at home everytime. Go to the cinemas.
If you love to read, don’t just buy books and read at home, join a book club.
Just get yourself out there as much as possible. It increases your chances of meeting someone.
2. You don’t reply DM’s
Wake up and smell the coffee.
Social media has become a tool for meeting people and while there might be loads of silly people crawling around the cyberspace, you still can’t shut your eyes to the amazing possibilities that could result from replying DM’s and allowing conversations flow with guys online who take an interest in you.
You might need to go through their profiles to have a faint idea of who to reply and who not to, but you just can’t shut everyone down like that.
You’ll be single for a while longer if you do.

3. You still play hard to get
It’s 2017, baby. Your mates are out here reaching out to guys they like.
They are asking for dates and hookups but there you are, drawing up a nine-month delay plan for every guy that shows interest in you.
It rarely works that way anymore. If you genuinely like a guy that shows interest in you, or you think he stands a chance with you, then let things flow naturally.
No need to hold back and expect him to stick around for ages, waiting for your games to end.
4. You let friends choose for you
If your friends’ opinions about guys that like you is what determines whether or not you talk to or go out with them, you might soon become the only single one in the group.
While you want to be out there and position yourself for that tall, dark and handsome bobo to whisk you off your feet, you also want to be careful so as not to appear too eager. It scares guys off.
Let friendship, dates and relationships build up normally. Don’t overdo things. There is a balance between doing too much and doing too little with a guy you just met.
Find that balance and stay right there till the coast becomes clear to go all out for him.
