Well, when a Russian oligarch decides to go all out for a wedding be rest assured he is aiming at throwing down the most lavished wedding of 2016 and perhaps the years before that.

The wedding is rumored to have cost a whopping 205 billion Naira (£700million) and included performances by Jennifer Lopez, Sting and Enrique Iglesias, a nine-tiered wedding cake, a N5.5 million wedding dress and a fleet of expensive Rolls Royces.

Here is more about that wedding which held in Moscow back in March between an old magnate's son and a university student.
The father-of-the-groom, oil tycoon Mikhail Gutseriev is estimated to be worth £4.3billion, according to Forbes.
The groom is called Said and is 28. He studied at Harrow and Oxford. His bride, Khadija Uzhakhovs is 20 years old and she is a first year dentistry student at Moscow University.
Khadija rocked a N9 million Elie Saab well-beaded wedding dress which was imported from Paris and weighs 25 lbs. Khadija completed her bridal look with a tiara, a handbag and a diamond pendant necklace.
Jennifer Lopez, Sting, Enrique Iglesias were flew into Moscow to perform at the wedding at an alleged fee of £1million per performer. Jlo performed her greatest hit songs like Waiting For Tonight, If You Had My Love and Dance Again. Sting did Desert Rose, while Enrique Iglesias sang Bailando. Russian media reported that Beyoncé and Elton John also made up the music royalty, although this has yet to be confirmed.
Over 600 guests were invited to see the couple say "I do". The reception was held at Safisa, an upmarket restaurant and banqueting venue in Moscow.
A fleet of Rolls Royces were parked outside, and inside guests were greeted by a stunning display of fresh flowers from floor to ceiling.
Family and friends tucked into sushi and European cuisine followed by the wedding cake. At more than a metre tall, it was decorated with pink flowers and adorned with the star and crescent of Islam at the top.
