How much wedding dresses have evolved

Wedding gowns have been the focal point of nuptials for so many years. Some may say its the best attention seeker at every wedding but they have also had the most transition so far.

Back in the days, gowns were made to be simple or very bogus depending on the status of the bride or -- as some may say, how deep the pocket of the groom is.

If the gown wanted to be so overwhelming, it was made out of so much embellishment. The use pearls on the beading or fine silk were seen as expensive and for the rich back then. Many brides as far back as 1915 were covered up before the church and husbands because they were considered "virgins" ready to give their all to their men.

But as time went by, wedding dresses have moved from being too conservative to being more way too sexy Today's brides want more of their skin exposed and/or would go with the lace fabric which gives them the chic elegant look at the wedding.

Whether being old or new school, wedding gowns remain the one thing most guests look forward to see at every wedding. The brides sometimes travel the world to shop for the best. They get to try on so many wedding dresses before making her decision.
