1. Set up your own Youtube channel

For you to make money on Youtube, you’ll need to allow YouTube to place advertisements in your videos. According to Google, here's the guide on how to set up your Youtube channel to earn money.

Sign in to YouTube.

In the top right, select your account icon > Creator Studio.

In the left menu, select Channel > Status and features.

Under "Monetization," click Enable.

Follow the on-screen steps to accept the YouTube Partner Program Terms.

5. Meet earning requirements

To make money on Youtube, you need to have 1000 subscribers. Your channel also needs to have 4,000 watch hours in the past 12 months.

Once your channel is reviewed and approved to join the YouTube Partner Program,  you'll need to associate an approved AdSense account with your YouTube channel to earn money from your videos and get paid.

7. Check your analytics

Now that your Youtube channel has been monetized, it is important you check out the analytics to see how your videos are performing. To do this, click the Analytics option in your Channel menu and see your estimated earnings, video views, ad performance, demographics and so on.
