Dr. Pimple Popper Pops a 'Lemon Frosting' Cyst

In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper pops a small steatocystoma on a patients neck.
The cyst's thick, yellow contents looks like lemon frosting or creamy "butter," according to some fans.
Steatocystomas are typically small lumps filled with sebum, which is an oily substance that helps lubricate the hair, skin, and nails.

In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD pops a tiny steatocystoma on a patients neck. And the thick contents just may remind you of sweet lemon buttercream.

In the clip, Dr. Lee nicks the surface of the skin and squeezes out the cysts contents, which isn't the typical oily contents you'd expect from a steatocystoma. The contents resembles a thick lemon frosting coming out in a ribbon. Dr. Lee then fishes out the steatocystomas sac to prevent the growth from returning in the future. All that and the patient doesn't even need a stitch. What a pro.

Dr. Lee says a clue for her in identifying the growth before even excising it was the fact that the patient reported having similar growths on her abdomen. Steatocystomas are often located on the stomach, and often appear in several locations on a single person.

That was so satisfying, one fan commented on the clip. It was like butter! Another fan decided to take it one step further, commenting, Pass the butter, please! Yuck.

Steatocystomas are typically small, benign lumps that are filled with sebum, which is a yellowish, oily substance that helps lubricate the hair, skin, and nails, according to the National Institute of Health .
