Here's how your sex life could change after marriage

A new survey has found that even young married couples are having trouble in bed.

sex life changes when married

And a recent survey conducted by Cosmopolitan shows that even young couples may not be the exception to this trend, as many men and women voiced the need for more sex in their monogamous relationship.

By polling 1,162 respondents between the of ages 20 and 29, Cosmo found that 62 percent of all men surveyed wished they were having more sex, while 47 percent of women agreed.

More important, the survey revealed that many couples were having less sex after they were married than before they tied the knot.

For example, 24 percent of the people surveyed said they were having sex four or more times per week before they were married.

That number dropped to just nine percent when they were asked if they were still having that much sex after their nuptials.

And while just 14 percent of those surveyed said they were having sex just once a week before marriage, that figure jumped to 25 percent after the wedding.

Of course, this isn't a reason to avoid a serious relationship altogether.

After all, recent research has shown that married men live longer, make more money, and can have better sex than their single counterparts.
