This is how many women are fantasizing about their coworkers

When you try and think of the most mundane settings on the planet, very few things can top an MLS or NBA first-round playoff game, but the office can definitely be one of them.

If you think a college lecture hall is dull, just give it a few more years.

However, according to a survey conducted by Yellow Octopus that questioned more than 1,000 people who have (or had) worked in an office setting, there’s actually a lot more debauchery going on than meets the eye. This isn’t entirely surprising.

And while their survey revealed how many workers do drugs before heading to work (a fair amount) and how many workers have slept on the job (even more than you'd think) for the purpose of this write-up, we’ll take a look at just how many women are fantasizing about their coworkers.

First, the bad news—at least for those of you looking to engage in some office romancing.

That put that choice at third on the list, next to masturbating at work (which got 47 percent of votes) and watching porn (17 percent).

All three beat out the criminally-underrated act of eating someone else’s food, which grabbed just 8 percent of respondents’ ire. That’s not a victimless crime, folks.

Now the good news, when it came to workplace fantasies, it turns out that a number of women had imagined what it would be like to be with a coworker.

Though, not surprisingly, the women answering “yes” paled in comparison to the men answering “yes.”

Overall, 23 percent of millennial women said they’d dreamt of being with a coworker.

That was actually lower than their older contemporaries, as 31 percent of Gen X’ers said “Yes,” and 31 percent of baby boomers said “Yes,” as well.

Furthermore, 11 percent said they had engaged in sexual activity with a coworker at work, and 4 percent said they had bumped uglies with a non-employee at work.

When it came to that these daring individuals had engaged in at the office, 82 percent of women who had admitted to having some kind of sexual activity with a coworker said they had had intercourse, 40 percent said they had had oral sex, and 30 percent said they’d masturbated with a partner.

When it came to the actual time of day that these sexual hijinks went down, 72 percent said they’d gotten off after hours, versus 36 percent during office hours, and the 17 percent who had done it in the morning.

Finally, if you have had the (dis)pleasure of walking in on two (or more) coworkers going at it, you’re not alone, as 14 percent of those who had claimed to have had sex at work also admitted that they had been caught.
